The most common toilet seat shapes are round shape and elongated shape. Round shapes toilets are more common in older design toilets while elongated shapes are most commonly found in a more recent design.
To measure the toilet for VOVO bidet seat, make sure you have enough space between the tank and the bowl holes. In some cases when a toilet tank is curved too far forward, you may not be able to push the bidet all the way in and it may not fit your toilet. To avoid this issue, make sure the distance between the tank and the bowl holes are at least 2 inches or 30 millimeters apart. Otherwise, the seat may not cover the bowl entirely or you may not be able to complete the installation.
Our VOVO bidet seats offer both of the round and elongated shapes. For round toilet, make sure the distance between the bowl holes to the edge of the bowl is 16.9 inches or 430 millimeters. For elongated, the distance between the bowl holes and the edge of the bowl would have to be 18.5 inches or 470 millimeters.
